Can not login to back office TECHNICAL ERROR: Details: Error thrown:

I'm using Prestashop V1.5. The front office/shop is fine and customers can login and order but when I try to login to the back office I'm presented with an error warning 'TECHNICAL ERROR: Details: Error thrown: [object Object] Text status: error'

Naturally I can't get in to the admin dashboard so can't investigate this any further.

Can anyone assist with suggestions about the cause/fix for this issue?

This is a javascript error. 

You can look in the error log of your server for the underlying PHP error.

Thanks for the feedback musicmaster I'll investigate the logs to see what I can find there.

I have the same problem. Using PS 1.5.5.0. 
I deleted cache folder.

I renamed gameification module as suggested.

Nothing has helped.

Do you have any idea what to do?

I wasn't able to fix this myself so resorted to getting a PrestaShop expert through Freelancer to fix this for me.

Sorry I can't tell you how this was fixed.
