Contact Form

Dear Friends,

I wish to make the 'Order Reference' field in the contact form (customer service) as mandatory.

I understand that this page is created using contactform.php and contactform.tpl 

But I cannot figure out what and where the changes must be made.

Also, these files are available directly under
1. modules >> contact form >> templates >> widgets
as well as under

2. themes>> modules>> contact form >> templates >> widgets

while replying the answers, please mention the file paths too.
