Combinations Tab Missing (PS Version 1.7)

Hi guys,

 

I created attributes that I need to add to a virtual product but can't because the "Combinations" tab is missing, this is the case for both virtual and standard products.

I cleared my browser's cache but this didn't help, I'm using PS v1.7.6.8

Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

Check the right hand side of the page:  "Product with combinations" tick that. Your quantities will change to combinations.

I hadn't noticed that option as the products that I use are virtual and I now see that this option is unavailable when creating a virtual product. This is rather weird, surely virtual products having attributes/combinations is a normal thing?

 

It seems like I'll have to purchase a module to allow attributes/combinations for virtual products and for anyone else that might run into the same problem and may want to know, the module that I'm going with can be found in the below link and it is from a developer that I've purchased from in the past (Webkul) and have nothing but good to say about their services;
