Image Slider on homepage showing default images

I've recently taken over a PrestaShop 1.7.6.9 site, using the classic theme, having never used it before. I've noticed that the image slider on the home page has reverted to displaying the default images rather than the ones that were there previously. If I look in Manage Modules at the Image Slider, the images I want are still showing and they're not apparently disabled.

I was looking for somewhere to put a banner on the home page about new ownership in a hurry just before Christmas, not long after taking over the company, and may have accidentally changed something but I can't see anything obvious. I've attached a couple of images to illustrate the problem. Can anyone help me understand what might be going on here?

I now have access to the cpanel and the images that appear in the backend when I look in Manage Modules are in public_html/shop/modules/ps_imageslider/images along with the ones that actually show on the website. Still confused....
