Edit Bulk actions dropdown doesn't work

Hello!

I have latest PS installed.

And I want to edit Bulk actions dropdown to have additional action. Following this docs https://devdocs.prestashop.com/1.7/development/components/grid/tutorials/work-with-bulk-actions/

gives literally nothing.

Registered a hook, added a function (hookActionCustomerGridDefinitionModifier), and according to docs - "Now you should be able to see new Bulk action available in Customers grid!"

Guess what? - Correct, nothing is changed. Resetting plugin, uninstalling and installing again - nothing.

Can somebody here explain how that "fancy" stuff could actually work?

 

p.s. Googled for it, and found at least 5 topics in this forum, related to exactly same issue - they were never answered(topics dated 2015-2020). Hope this one will have more luck
