How Do I Speed Up Prestashop?

Hey! We have an online shop based on Prestashop 1.7. We feel that the response time on the server is tough. According to the speed test, it takes up to 15 seconds to run. We want to do it, but how? We have talked to our Hosting provider, but they say it is not due to the Server, but Prestashop. Is there anyone here who can help us with this?

When you just look at the shop it is quite fast. It looks like the problem is somewhere under the hood.
