Orders at same time

Hello everyone, we have a problem with our current OPENCART, it is that we have peaks of many visits in a few minutes and they run out of stock right away. What happens is that when several users are completing their order in a few seconds of difference, we often find negative stock, more products have been sold than stock. Soon we are going to launch the new website with PRESTASHOP and I would like to know how the stock is managed in this CMS or if there is any way that this does not happen. Thanks.

You can never completely evade this problem. At some point people will have to pay and while they are doing that you can choose to reserve the product for them - in which case you will get stuck with it if they to quit during the payment process - or you take it only out after they finish payment - in which case you might end up with negative stock.

I have been informing myself and it is true that this problem has little solution. What I would like to know is that other online stores have done with this same problem, your experience can help me in this. Thank you all.
