Search in frontend by reference number

Hi,

I am using P.S 1.7. I want to search products in frontend by the reference number. Now, when I put the number doesn't work. I have searched the forum but couldn't find anything. I have already re-builded the index from Shop Parameters -> Search
Any idea how this could be possible.?

Hi 

I can see that you have already been on the page Shop Parameters -> Search 

When you where on the settings page for Search did you change the "Weight" for reference to be the most important?
If you didn't you should set reference to be the most important, re-build the entire index and then clear cahce in your shop.

Yeap, that was indeed the solution. It was in front on me but I didn't see it.
