Update js-product-list with conditions

Hi, 

I don't know if it is possible but i need to have some advices.

I have a custom product-list tpl, which calls a listing of products from a query with getproducts function.

I would like to set some custom bootstrap button, for example "All products containing "x" word", then, update product-list using {foreach $products item=product} where $product.name|strstr:'x'

Is it possible ?
