Problem with contact form

Hello all,

I am using Prestashop 1.6.1.3. in 6 languages.
My contact form stopped working. I tried it as a customer, and I get the following error message in French (my main language is in English):
There is 1 error :
Formulaire invalide.

I tried it in all the languages - but this is what I always got.

I have an old backup, from May 2020, but I don't have the slightest idea where to begin and what to do.

Any help please?

Did your hosting provider shut down the PHP Version you were running on?

Do you get this error when you show the form or when you submit it?

I don't know. The hosting provider keeps my 3 different sites (ZenCart, WP and Prestashop).
The hosting provider changed the cpanel to a new"tool" two days ago. I don't know how it worked before it.
Prestashop is the only one that is not working correctly.

I get this error only when I try to submit the form.

Please check your php version.

And when you answer quote the post you answer to. Prestashop has recently changed the way it manages its forum and I see only a note about your reaction when you quote me.

Hi,

I guess I am getting similar issue. When "not logged in" user is trying to send message using CONTACT US form, it shows message: "There is 1 error: 1. Formulaire invalide."

And no message is being sent.

If "logged in" customer is using the form - all is good (we receive the message).

Any idea how to solve this?

Prestashop version: 1.6.0.9. PHP version 5.6.40 and MySQL version 10.3.35-MariaDB-log

 

btw - I was trying a solution from other forum with ContactController.php modification - it did not help. The forum said it's for version 1.6.0.14 - which is not the version I use, maybe this is the reason.
