Marcel van As
After update from 1.7.7.0 to 1.7.7.1 the stats dashboard module no longer tracks online visitors. It no longer shows the pages visit, IP address, traffic sources etc. Edited January 13, 2021 by Marcel van As title change (see edit history)

Prestachamps
We had several cases with the same issue: what it solved was a reset of the Dashboard modules (those 4-5) Let me know if it worked. Cheers, LEo

Marcel van As
Thank you Leo, this helped me solving the issue. The module for datamining for statistics was no longer enabled after the update. Enabling the module fixed the issue. I also noticed a few more modules that were disabled after the update: newsletter, presta comments, presta metrics were also disabled.

Prestachamps
Sorry guys! I’ve hust saw the message. It doesn’t the mosules mentioned are just taking the existing data from the database and preaent it in a more desirable way, allow you to filter and fragment the data. Just go ahead and reset it- nothing should go wrong. Cheers, Leo

rushaboswal.rdx
To anyone watching here is how i fixed it. 1) Go to module catalog search for visitors - Then install visitors online 2) From an older prestashop folders - go to root> modules> statsorigin folder. Create a zip file of it and then upload it via modules. Works like a charm now. Dont know why prestashop removed it.

Creane un file zip e poi caricalo tramite i moduli. Funziona a meraviglia ora. Non so perché PrestaShop lo abbia rimosso. Thank you, I solved it that way too!
