InduShine
Hi, I always had my prestashop domain shop set at https://indushine.com I upgraded to 1.7 and now for some reason to access the shop you must go to https://indushine.com/PrestaShop/gb if you go to indushine.com it will just show one of those parked domains suggestions page :S I tried going to SEO & URL and the domain there is displayed as indushine.com Anyone has any information that could help me? I am quite unexperienced when it comes to this
El Patron
Look like you upgraded in such a way as files were created in PrestaShop folder. then you will need to copy those files into root. then via admin update your shop url by removing prestashop from domain name...note do not add https prefix, just domain name https://www.screencast.com/t/LNZCCfsQiQ
InduShine
Thanks for your help, bad outcome though.... I moved all the files out of the prestashop folder directly into the root - the var folder was not moving as there was one left over from before which I then deleted and moved succesfully) Now I cannot access the backpanel, it redirects me to a 500 internal server error 🤐 I am wondering if its because when typing: indushine.com/admin - it automatically redirects me to indushine.com/prestashop/admin on the address bar - even though the prestashop folder inside the root folder does not exist anymore? InduShine
I managed to force it by removing the /prestashop from the search bar after being redirected and it does take you to the login page but a skeleton version of it thats unusable. Upon logging-in, it goes to error 500 with the added /prestashop to the addressbar, I deleted the /prestashop same as I did before to try force it but it just goes back to log-in page... InduShine
[SOLVED] Using my phpMyAdmin i went to the database and looked for 'ps_shop_url' after struggling to find it, noticed it was on page 2 of results which you had to forward to. Changed 'physical_uri' from '/Prestashop/' to '/' Thanks for the help @El Patron !
