Orders: some go to customers area and some don't show at all

Hi,

I have a big problem, using version 1.6.1.24: Some of the orders in my site don't show up in the orders area, but do show up in the customers area, while the payment was successful. It happens about 10% of the orders.

Second, yesterday I have the following problem: A customer ordered and was charged twice from two different credit cards for the same product (let's say product X for 10$ AND product X for 10$ as well). One order shows up in the customers area, the other one has no record in my dashboard at all. 

What is the problem? What should I do and who should I contact?

It is Irrelevant. both payment methods worked fine.

Il faudrait voir le problème de plus près, mais ma recommandation serait de migrer vers Prestashop 1.7

It is not possible to transfer to version 1.7 right now.

Yes, it might be easier to understand the problem this way.
