Problem with .htaccess on windows XAMPP SERVER

Hi Guys,
I have a local XAMPP web server on windows 7.

To improve SEO I edited the httpd.conf in apache dir, from this link guidline Module Rewrite.

My old apache configuration does not have this inclusion "AddModule mod_rewrite.c" and "AccessFileName .htaccess".

I append to the httpd.conf file this line
AccessFileName htaccess.txt

Now the admin panel work great but the home page of the store print this:

Spiacenti, ma l'indirizzo web che hai inserito non è più disponibile
Sorry, but the web address you entered is no longer available

How I can edit the htaccess to solve this issues?

I don't understand why you would edit this on a local xampp server to improve SEO, unless you are using it as a live shop?If you are not live then there is no need for thre seo as your test site will not be indexed in anyway

I think you have all the reason to post this reply to me, but I have no expirience with url rewriting, and I want to learn.
In fact I don't have problem with SEO (I donìt need SEO in local), but I want to learn how to configure apache web server for the url rewriting.
I want to do some example for test, but if the htaccess doesn't work fine, I can't do my test.
Also I don't know if prestashop htaccess work with the web server I must place it.

Some other solutions?
