Colinee
Hi, I'm going crazy with how to add a contact form to a CMS page. It's as simple as that, I just want to add a basic contact form in the CMS page I created "Contact". Does anyone can explain me how to simply to that please? My version is 1.7.6.8 Have a great day! finaweb
@ndiaga @Colinee- did you manage to get the contact form in a new page? My requirement is not the same but related to contactform. I just wish to make the dropdown for Order Reference as mandatory. Any idea if this is possible? finaweb
Dear @ndiaga, thank you for the quick response. really appreciate it!!! I realise that adding an attribute 'required' in the <select> tag can help achieve it. But I understand that this page is created using contactform.php and contactform.tpl However, I cannot figure out how and where the changes must be made. The 2 files are available under 1. modules >> contact form >> templates >> widgets as well as under 2. themes>> modules>> contact form >> templates >> widgets Where do we add the attribute? can i also add a message if someone does not select the dropdown value? or the validation works on its own? finaweb
@ndiagait doesnt, work. I tried to change the file at modules >> contact form >> templates >> widgets That too didnt work. Even the label does not get changed from 'optional' to 'required'. It seems it also requires a change in the contactform.php file. I tried to add the validation in the .php file but that didnt work either. Do I need to do anything else after modifying the files?? Please help.
