       Product Pictogram Module 

 

There is a very popular saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. In simple wording, an image can impart info so clearly that 1000 words might not. Hence, showing images instead of texts help you to convey the intended information clearly & allows you to catch the customer’s attention too. Generally, even we notice the images much earlier than the text on any poster/hoarding etc. It’s just that the human mind works that way. So, while keeping all the above points in mind, we are here with the Prestashop Product Pictogram module.

But, before we go any further with the blog, let me just explain you what a pictogram is?

A/c to Wikipedia, a Pictogram is a pictorial representation of the physical object. It aims to convey meaning through its resemblance to the real-life object.

Now, let’s come back to the functionalities of this module. The module offers you to represent features of your product in the form of pictogram. While this module indeed enhances the shopping experience of the customer, it enhances the features of the product sheet as well. Some noteworthy features that this module brings with it are:

• Pictorial representation of features.
• Helps to easily convey the information to the customers with the help of pictures.
• Grab the attention of customers as well as potential visitors.
• It becomes easy to highlight the unique/important features of the product with pictograms.

Module Features-

 

• Show pictogram for various features of the product.
• Add pictogram icon for all the feature values.
• Choose to enable or disable the module.
• Enable the image fill option to fit the image fully inside the circle.
• Provide image enlarge option on hovering the cursor over it.
• Select the border color of the pictogram circle.
• Set the border radius & width of the pictogram circle.
