Header logo won't change

Recommended Posts

Hi all,
I've just started using prestashop and run into a big problem straight away.

When I go to Preferences>Appearance (or Modules>Themes) and try to change my Header logo nothing happens once I press save, and the screen essentially goes blank (although the navigation tabs etc still remain).
I referesh my shop page and the header logo is still the original Prestashop logo.

Does anybody know why this isn't working properly?

what type of image is it? I dont think that really matters but you can also try FTPing your image to the location it is stored on the webserver (usually what i do). Just make sure it is named the same and is of the same format OR you have to edit the code to accept anything other than a jpg which there are a couple threads already about changing the logo to a png with code in there on how to do it.

Its just a .jpg file. I actually downloaded the original logo.jpg, edited it and tried to replace it like that but it still wouldn't work.

I know I could probably go into the code and sort it out but thats the kind of thing I wanted to avoid doing, and I thought that was the point of Prestashop.

Right, managed to change the header.

Now trying to add products and it won't show any of the product images I'm uploading.
Why is my Prestashop being so rubbish with images?

same problems here Oo pretty messed up system oO

how did you manage to change the header ?

I just found the logo.jpg on my server and deleted it. Replaced it with my own logo.jpg.
Good news though, after reading through some threads i found out it could be something to do with my hosting provider and the version of php they're using. Phoned them up and they knew straight away what my problem was and installed some little work around.
Now I can upload all images properly! Woohoo!
