adapting classic theme: homepage with 2 columns v1.7.

hello i choose two columns small left colomns for my homepage in theme customs  but the products display is no longer good

because it displays only 2 products where i would like display of 3 products layout, looks like the width is not enough?

 

i want product| product|product| layout

i have product| product layout

any help appreciated

If you post a link it would be much appreciated.

Moreover, some custom css styling is capable of braking the bootstrap mechanism.
Some extra margin, display or float are some directives that may affect your layout.

i triied with webdevelopper plugin in firefox to add this to the css

.products {
    width: 850px;
}

its seems to work i have to check
