rdubill
Running Prestashop 1.6.16.1 Been using Prestashop for 7 years Yesterday afternoon was trying to log in to the Prestashop Back Office at "http://tigerperformance.com/admin123/index.php?controller=AdminLogin&token=35a17971b82669e49cd2d0e6bd004e6a" Got error code HTTP 500 I can no longer access it.... Help - nothing has change - no updates - after 7 years of using. Note - the front office is working fine. I can also access the site using dreamweaver with the ftp url. Thank you! JBW
Maybe your hosting has changed the PHP version? Anyway, activate debug mode to see the details of the error:

JBW - It is a PHP problem - my host upgraded me to PHP 7.5 yesterday - they changed the handler back to PHP 5.6 in the htaccess file and I can now access the back office. They did highly recommend upgrading to the current level as this will be a continuing on going problem (their comment). What is strange is the front office works fine on PHP 7.5 - just the back office was not accessible. What is involved in getting my Prestashop version upgraded to one that is compatible with PHP 7.5? Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Even latest release 1.7.6 is only compatible until PHP 7.2 - next version 1.7.7. will support PHP 7.3. Upgrading your shop from 1.6 to 1.7 is a huge step as the archticture has changed and your theme and most modules will need updartes. Never try this on you live shop, always test on a clone first.
