My account block not showing up in ver 1.4

Hello friends,

I am a developer and i m new to prestashop. Ive installed a theme and all the modules are shwoing up except for the my account block....I have tried uninstalling it and installing again and have positioned it right but its just not showing up...

Any idea?

really late for this.

In the blockmyaccount.php file, in the hookLeftColumn method, comment the lines :

if (!$params['cookie']->isLogged())
  return false;

 

It solved the issue for me.
