1.2.2 -> 1.4 upgrade problem

Hi all,

I have recently upgraded my store from 1.2.2 to 1.4 version (quite a leap )
In general, the update went smoothly, but when I got to the Back Office, on the main page i see no content except two information Tab cannot be found. (as on the screen)

I tried to remove modules from BO -> Modules -> positions but it does not work. I have also tried to do the update gradually, 1.2.2 to 1.2.5, then 1.2.5 to 1.3.1 and finally 1.3.1 to 1.4, and all was OK until the last update

can anyone help me? what should i do to get the original, initial view of the BO homepage with all the info of 1.4?
