problem: change a standard product to virtuel

Hello, i have the problem that a lot of products of type "Standard" already exist and I have to change them to "virtual" products.
I have some product which I CAN change but most I CAN'T

One afternoon while I was trying I could change them but had no time at this moment.

A few hours later it was blocked again

Are there any conditions when it's possible and when not?

If I create a new product it is always possible to switch types.

this is not possible with products that have combinations, you need a module like https://addons.prestashop.com/fr/declinaisons-personnalisation/45490-combinaison-de-produit-virtuelle.html

Thanks for your reply, but there are no productcombination. The products have variants. Does this block too?

Variants and productcombination are the same thing.

On the other side I was sure I could change the type but without removing the variants.
