iBEAST
Hello everyone, I'm not new to prestashop per-say but i am new to the forums. Thanx to all the developers and others whomade this happen, Prestashop is the future and is flat out the best decision in E-commerce and believe me I've been through a few! so thank you prestashop Devs and Forum members!!My problemfor a few weeks now i have successfully played around with prestashop and have got a good grasp on how to run my store effectivel/ efficiently, but recently uploaded a fresh copy of the latest version(1.1) to my web host (000webhost.com) and once i put in my http://my_site.com/install my shop does come up. However after i select my language which is STEP 1 everything is fine, until i come upon STEP 2, it seems as if i cannot see the checklist, and worst of all i cannotclick "NEXT"to move on from step 2!,as illustrated in the image below;BUT if i highlight the page and paste it a text file, or even in this thread topic window i can see the checklist bright as day! and they read as follows: "System and permissions The following settings are required. Please make sure the following checklist items are true. If you have any questions, please visit our Documentation Wiki and/or Community Forum. * PHP settings (modify via your PHP admin software): * PHP 5.0 or later is installed * Allowed to upload files * Allowed to create new files and folders * GD Library is installed * MySQL support is on * Write permissions on files and folders: * /config * /tools/smarty/compile * /sitemap.xml * Write permissions on folders and subfolders/recursively: * /img * /mails * /modules * /themes/prestashop/lang * /translations * /upload * /download Optional set-up" I've been at it for HOURS!! i have also changed all the permissions on my folders and subfolders as requested and still i cannot click "NEXT", i've tried Mozilla and IE browsers and i cannot click "NEXT" to get to steps that should follow.I would greatly appreciate it if smeone could shed some light on my situation. Thank you in advance for your help and God Bless!-iB3@ST

getstock
It also might be worth deleting everything and starting again What I generally do is leave everything as default permissions and then use the list as a checklist, change one at a time then refresh to check it has gone through ok

Yea, thanx again for responding, i have tried several times to delete all files in public_html folder and re-ftp, but again installation freezes at step number 2, it doesn't seem to load the checklist.I will definitely try the hosting at your website! thank you very much for your help
