Perfomance with facetedsearch and a lot of combinations

Hello community,

i'm just starting with a new onlineshop with prestashop 1.7.6.8. but as it looks like it's over faster than i thought.

Currently i have > 12k products with a lot of combinations and the performance is terrible. With ps_facetedsearch the two biggest querys take 4 seconds each.

If the query is in the cache it is of course faster, but if not it is just bad and not usable.

I understand that there is a lot of data

ps_product 12902
ps_product_attribute_combination 1112766
ps_product_attribute_shop 384436
ps_product_attributes 399037
ps_attributes 5513

but other online stores have this topic as well. I have a friend who has a PS 1.6x with the same amount of data and he does not have the problem. I have also put the store on his server for testing purposes to have the same performance but here is exactly the same problem. The PS 1.7x just handles it differently than the 1.6x - and it looks much worse?

Do you have any tips for me?
