Combination generator

Version 1/7/6/8.

Just swopped to this version and I CANNOT get the combinations generator to work when I want to combine different attributes, each with different values. eg 5 sizes and 4 styles

Do I add ALL the attributes in one go, or specific attributes one at a time - all sizes and all styles and then click generate. 

eg.

• size - sizes having different weight and price difference
• style - styles having different weight and price difference
• Colour - makes no difference to the price

But then it appears I have to select each variation, work out the combined price differences in my head, and apply each one individually. Surely that can;t be correct? 

Or do I add the sizes first, and then the the styles, applying the  different values to each attribute. But then when I add the second attribute it just doesn't seem to work

I am totally confused and would really appreciate a step by step guidance or better still a video.

I have wasted absolutely hours so far trying to work this out!
