pjbnz Posted April 14, 2011 Share Posted April 14, 2011 Hi,I purchased 'M4 PDF Extentions' modules through Prestashop Addon for my site to be able to show Korean in Invoice, Credit Note and Delivery Note produced within my Prestashop. It failed and got no support nor refund from them, Prestashop Addon or the creator. I feel ingnorant and unfairness so much in this.In the website which promote 'M4 PDF Extentions', it does look like supporiting multi languages. And in the module configuration, there is a block to download CJK (Chinese, Japanese and Korean) fonts. I am sure that this has been programed to support Korean in 'M4 PDF Extentions' module.I initially asked support for this through Contact in Prestashop Addons. They emailed me that the creator would contact me soon. As I did not get any support, I contact them again as you would. No reply. This time I tried suggestion from this forum site by changing several codes. Not successful. I contacted the Prestashop Addons that it was not successful even with some code chages. They replyed me back that I need to upload it in original prestashop version. I changed code adjustments back to original. It did not work. I contacted them about it. They replied me that I need to upload it in fresh new prestashop. I look at Prestashop about download, I could not find my version 1.3.6.0, all the links in this forum and the website directed to 1.3.7.0. So, I contact them I am new to Prestashop and I could not do it as I already have done so much in my 1.3.6.0 and asked refund as I could not use it because it did not work in my original 1.3.6.0.They ingnored my refund request emails 4 times. I tried PayPal claim for a full refund. Recently got result that I can not get refund just because it is not a physical product and they suggested me to contact the sellor directly.I contacted PrestaShop Addons again for a full refund. They refused my request say I did not do "all new instalation of prestashop" and "this module is not mentioned to support the Korean chanracters".I feel so much frustration from this unfairness and ignorance dealing with PrestaShop Addons in this incident. I had previously purchased modules and the creators were supportive. I was going to purchase 4 more modules from Prestashop Addons, but now I am not doing anyting with them, I would rather directly purchase modules from 3rd party even I pay a bit more. I purchased some modules from 3rd parties recently, yes they are all good and very supportive.It maybe a problem with the creator of "M4 PDF Extentions" module as I have never got any contact from the creator, but the administation from "PrestaShop Addons" also has some issues dealing in this program fault incident.So, if you are new to PrestaShop like me, I suggest you, at least, to avoid this "M4 PDF Extentions" module from PrestaShop Addons. A problem caused PrestaShop Addons and their (no)support.As a creator module, I declare that the module can print a PDF in Korean.Can someone tell an experience with my support? I see only this on my Addons account:income 69,30 € M4 PDF Extensions 2011-04-14Someone add his/her name and email. You do not add. I'm sorry. It's a misunderstanding, but the error is not with me. More than 10 emails from me, but I got no contact from you.Are you saying that they did not inform you nothing about my emails? Other creators contacted me directly, but not you because you were not informed? I would want to believe you but It is really hard.Why dont you just inform them to refund me? I looked into the old mail and found (only) one email from the Addons (2011-03-11 14:29) and my response was sent to pjbnz at hotmail.com (2011-03-11 14:48). See the attachment. I was closely watching my email accounts as I was hoping to set up your modules working as soon as possible. Looking at your email attachment here, I am sure that if Prestashop Addons had forwarded my emails to you, then you would have responded me in a timely manner. Anyway, I was not able to set it up working and decieded doing without it. Can I get refund directly from you since you got the fund? You can deduct Addon fees from the total amount. I just do not want to contact them again.I also strongly feel that the Prestashop Addons is not worth to trust on. I am going to visit your site for modules. I am not responsible for you spam filter or any other things at your freemail account. I am not responsible for sending emails from Addons. I am responsible for my module and have a clean conscience.The problem was that you bought a module or theme on Addons you could not connect the developer directly. But asking refund the amount you received through Prestashop Addons, because I did not have services that were supposed to get. As I told you you could deduct amount paid to Prestashop Addons, so that you are not disadvantagous.All I want from you is a refund. And beleiving what you said is true, I will probably complain about the poor service from Prestashop Addons and ask Addon fees refund once I get refund from you. yohio Posted June 24, 2012 Share Posted June 24, 2012 annoying as it can be, I purchased the module, and I get to the point after installing that i cannot get into the configuration and setting of the module. this is what i see after clicking "config" in the module area. I did contact the creator, he asked for a few files, sent it to him, now I await an answer for almost a full day (saturday and friday are usually days off for people so I am not considering those days..) any one has any idea on how to get passed this error? yohio Posted June 25, 2012 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Glad to say one thing, M4 actually took the time to configure and fix the errors I encountered, and furthermore, after doing so, helped me in configuring the module to meet the exact demands that I had for the way the module performs, I expected him to be available on a sunday since in my country we work on sundays, and forgot that it's not the case for the rest of the world.. as a result I posted the former message, even though it was a sunday, M4 took the time and replied and explained to me what needs to be done and even took the time to enter to my website himself and fix the errors. today (monday) everything is working perfect. So I recommend people that needs stuff done with invoices to save themselves the time and invest the cost of the module, the service is great and the outcome is very nice and easy. Thanks!!
