ComicSpielzeug
Hi, I'm a Prestashop newbie. Currently I'm setting up a Prestashop. I use a tool to import my products to Prestashop via API. The products show up in the frontend, but they don't show up in the backend/products. What could I try or what information you need to help me? Best Regards, Holger
musicmaster
"I use a tool to import my products to Prestashop via API" Wonderfully vague. Please provide details.
ComicSpielzeug
Well, the tool I use is "Oscware" conecting by webservice. The import works fine so far, the products show in frontend. Are there log fikles I may check regarding the webservice? Where can I find it? I activated the webservice for the AP'I tool, switched everything on. Well, the products show in front end, that means the products has been imported, they made into the database. But how can it be that the products don't show in backend? ComicSpielzeug
One more thing, I recognized that the products show "out of stock" even if products are available, see screenshot. It show "2 products availble" but in the same time the out of stock signs is showing. musicmaster
Anyone can speculate here. But you can only be sure by doing the hard work: looking into the database and seeing how a normally entered product differs from a products entered with this tool. Export the database into a sql file. Add one product the normal way and one via Oscware. Export the database again and compare the two sql files with a tool like Winmerge. musicmaster
no, the database is the whole thing from ps_access to ps_zone_shop.
ComicSpielzeug
I created a product in the back end, the product shows up in the ps_product database, but none of the API imported products. Probably its a problem of the Oscware API tool. I created a ticket and wait what Oscware says. Thanks for help!
