Rita Ramos
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Prestashop 1.7.6.7 a lot of times, but whenever I open the site, there is the message below. musicmaster
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS is often related to SSL. So disable all settings that automatically redirect http to https - both in your bakoffice and in the server itsef.

musicmaster
What happens when you delete .htaccess?
Rita Ramos
In fact, it was a problem even with SSL. My host had to enter the SQL settings and set SSL permissions for all pages. It was necessary to go to the table PS_CONFIGURATION and change the value of the field “PS_SSL_ENABLED_EVERYWHERE” to: 1 and “PS_SSL_ENABLED” to: 1 Thanks!
saag1
Thank you very much for sharing your solution Rita. I was having the same issue, having the prestashop newly installed and under construcition in a subfolder something like: www.domain.com/prestashop I had the SSL certificate installed in the main domain ans showing the secure lock, but each time i got into the subfolder it wasn´t showing the secure site logo. With your solution now running like silk. Thanks again!

flgatormike
I did a clean install of the most recent version, and it was running fine with SSL, but after switching to another theme, I get ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS, and even after switching back to the default classic them, I am getting the error. I've seen some posts about this error but haven't seen a solution. If anyone has an idea of what I can try that would be awesome!

inoxkit
This error often arrives when you install Prestashop try to desactivate force ssl = Yes in the admin or try to desactivate force ssl in the admin of your server or one or the other but not both at the same time otherwise it gives the error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
