Get current listed products in module

Hi,

I'm working on a module and I need to get the list of the displayed products in the current page (can be category, newproducts, manufacturer or any other product listing page). I'm passing $params from hook but it is so deep that I cannot understand where to find the products list. Is there any tool provided by Prestashop to get that?
