1.7 Use Symfony var_dumper in Prestashop front-end

Hi, I'm working on a Prestashop 1.7.6.7 and I'm just trying to debug some variables in front-end.

I wanted to use the Symfony dump() method which is available in back-end. It works when I gave it a string but didn't when I pass it an array/variables.

Do you have any idea why it doesn't works ? You can see the error I've got on the following images.
