No Statistics while Invoices disabled on 1.7.X

Hello,

as described in the title I am facing what many have faces before. Found two solutions in this forum, both with overrides but they did not work for me.

Fact is that I just launched an Eshop for a client that uses external software for invoicing. So invoices disabled.

With that I have all my statistics at 0.

I even tried enabling invoices, creating a order and checking that - voila, no problem. The moment I generate an invoice all stats are ok.

So I thought of two possible solutions to this:

1. Some fix from you that would bypass this issue.

2. Enable invoices, generate them, dont send them to customer, and dont allow them to "download" them.
But I dont know how to achieve this. The best I could do is - generate the invoice, but not attaching it to the email, but it still is accessible via "My account".

What do you think? 

Is there some latest hack or fix for this please?

After 2 years still no one has answered. It also interests me.
But I believe that now Prestashop is no longer a convenient choice.

I also paid a ticket costing € 92, and the only solution they proposed was to create the invoices, paying another € 400.
Incompetent!
Stay away from the Prestashop support service, they are looking for easy money, without giving solutions.
