nicksey
Hello I have searched the forum for an answer to this but cannot find one. In earlier versions of Prestashop (before 1.4) in the modules list, in the Blocks section, there is a module called simply 'Info Block'. If you click on configure you can select which of your CMS pages you want to appear here as links. In 1.4 this module does not seem to exist. At least I can't find it. The information block is there on my website but there does not seem to be any way to control it. The problem is that the block contains a link to 'Our stores'. I don't have any stores so want to remove this link from the block. There is a module called CMS block which can be configured this way but it does not have an option to remove the 'Our stores' link. There is a 'Stores' block which I have uninstalled but this does not remove the 'Our stores' link. Does anyone know how to remove the 'Our stores' link from the information block? Thanks in advance. xbfish
Go to Tools -> CMS.do you see the "our stores" link over there? If yes, just delete it. If no, you might have to delete the records from the database.
nicksey
Hi Thanks for the reply. No the ' 'our stores' link is not on the CMS page so cannot be changed from there. There is a Stores tab under Tools but this doesn't allow you to remove the link either. It seems an extreme and backward step to have to delete this from the database rather than directly being controlled from the back office. xbfish
Hmm... this is because the "Stores" block that you have previously installed does not "clean up" the database when it is being uninstalled. By the way, you should be able to un-check the "our stores" link from the configuration of CMS block. The link will not be shown in the front office. nicksey
Definately no way of unticking it under CMS configure.See screen shot of information block and CMS configuration attached.
xbfish
Well... this is bad! Anyway, you can go into your database through phpmyadmin and find table "ps_cms_lang". Find the "our stores" links and delete it from there. Hope it helps
