tanmalik786
Hi there, I am just about starting with Prestashop, BUT am finding going really tough. I want to tweak default 'Classic' theme to have a fully width Slider, can anybody help me or point towards something helpful - to help me achieve this simple goal? TIA
tanmalik786
I wonder as to why anybody is not responding to my query, is it too small a thing to be asked here? will appreciate even if I get a response from a moderator. I am trying to get my feet wet BUT apparently it looks like people are too busy to help someone like me?
quickmick1983
Hi Tanver, Which Version of Prestashop? You mean the Theme Classic? Take a look at Themes->Classic->Modules->ps_imageslider If i remember correctly, the slider is in the Container box.. so you must close it before and open it after the slider. regards.... Thanks for your response, I am using v1.7.6.7 and yes I am talking about Theme Classic. I found that it's in a closed box and wanted to make it full-width - without affecting any other module during this course. I even tried to achieve this by creating a Child theme but still I am unable to achieve this goal. I have tried to add some CSS to this file to get it done but .. Themes->Classic->Modules->ps_imageslider I have been working with WordPress and know how the themes and plugins work in there BUT in Prestashop so far totally last. SmartDataSoft
@Tanver The things is that PrestaShop theme coding and WordPress theme coding is different. I am expert in both plate form. From my experience. If you want to show the slider full width you need to remove the container class from the template before slider and then each module you need to use it where you like. Soon classydevs will release their elementor based page builder crazy elements using that any one can full width any content using stretch option. This can be done forcefully by js how the WordPress page builder do. Hope my explanation is help you to understand. Thank you
