Product pages in BO taking over a minute to load - PS 1.7.6.5

I recently moved our site from a subfolder where it was all working fine.  It has been created using PS 1.7.6.5 and just uses the classic theme.  Since doing this the product pages in the back office are now taking an age to open where before they were fine.  On average i would say anything up to a minute? I checked the error logs on the server via cPanel and notice that there are a few errors saying 'file does not exist. /xxxxxx/xxxxx/public_html/product.php' and am wondering if this is related?  Any Help please? 

server information is as follows:

PHP version: 5.6.40

Memory limit: 512M

Max execution time: 300

Upload Max File size: 20M

First of all Kindly set the PHP 7.0 or 7.1 for your Prestashop 1.7 site and check again

Hi Razi 

Thanks for your quick reply.  I actually narrowed down the problem to a plugin. (visual composer for PS) I had used it to build the home page in the classic theme. I have therefore sent a msg to the developer of that.  Something to do with translations which is interesting as i have been having a problem with them as i am literally unable to edit any of the core emails.  Not sure if this is related?  Anyhow i will take your good advice and set PHP 7.0.  Thank you
