New theme and bad developer support.

I bought new theme to my store on AddonStore. I'm using 1.6.1.24 version. But immediately after i installed theme i found out lots of bugs and differences between LiveDemo and my theme. I contacted developer. After few urgencies he fixed most of them, but he is ignoring some bugs and style diffrences, that they are not supported in PS 1.6. For example wow effects, switchable boxes on product page and more. But he is declaring compatibity with PS versions from 1.6.0 to 1.7.7. He is not specifying what is working on 1.6 and what isn't. I were expecting that everything should be working like in LiveDemo.

What do you think about it? Am i an idiot when i'm expecting that i will get what i see and what is written in description?

I'm requesting discount or new theme from same developer or merchendise return. But he is not answering. Is there any independent support on AddonStore?
