JohnDavisGH
I used XAMPP on a windows server machine. I believe I have installed everything correctly. I can access the frontend and backend of prestashop when on the server. How do I access it from my desktop? When I type //192.168.1.100/ it just leads me the XAAMP page. When I type //192.168.1.100/Storename it gives me a connection error. Edit: This is on a LAN connection Edit: Odd, Im able to access my backend from my desktop using //192.168.1.100/storename/adminXYZ Still can't access my frontend however. JohnDavisGH
I have resolved the issue. For those who are hosting Presta on a server and using a desktop to connect to it through LAN. You'll get an a connection error because you will get redirected to //localhost/store. You will need to got to the backend > Traffic > Set Shop URL > change the domain to either the IP of your Server or if you have DNS running the Name of your server. That should resolve the issue.
