Prestashop SSL - my last hurdle before going live!

Hi guys

My new prestshop site is running fine except when I switch on the SSL. When clicking on the checkout using Firefox I get the message:

“The page isn’t redirecting properly:Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.” (Using MS WebExplorer, the page just hangs)

- I have a dedicated 1&1;hosting package, with a dedicated geotrust certificate – My certificate is for “canineconcepts.co.uk” (rather than “www.canineconcepts.co.uk”) – I already have one (non prestashop) website running (and using SSL) on the server at http://www.canineconcepts.co.uk – I have my prestshop site in test at http://www.canineconcepts.co.uk/prestashop1-4

So my preferences in Prestashop are currently:
Shop domain name for SSL = ‘canineconcepts.co.uk’
Shop domain name = ‘www.canineconcepts.co.uk’
Automatically redirect to Canonical url = YES
PS directory = ‘/prestashop1-4/’

Any suggestions on what else I can try?

i have the same problem!! this 1.4 is so full of bug!!!

I have now got around this by setting: Shop domain name = ‘canineconcepts.co.uk’
