Payment processed threw PayPal, but miscommunication between PayPal and shop

Aloha all,

I been using prestashop for about 4+ years now. I haven’t had any problems till the volume of customers increased on the store. See, my problem is.... when a customer orders something online “Shirt, hat, ect” the payment gets excepted on PayPal’s end. But the cart from the store does not get processed. There is also no invoice created on the store end. “Most times) 2 emails get set out 1- payment excepted from the store front. 2- PayPal invoice. The materials ordered  doesn’t get processed and the next customer that orders the same stuff scores while his payment gets processed “The count gets pulled” and a invoice is created from prestashop. I’m starting to feel bad for my customers that run into this issue. I been noticing it happens more and More. Anyone running into this issue. Any help would be great. Attached is a picture of PAYPAL invoice but this exact order did not generate an invoice on the store front end.🤙
