Restricting product category for specific group

I am trying to restrict visibility of outlet products (they are in outlet category) to only users that are in specific group. I think that I've setup everything correct but it is not working.

 

What I did:

• created group called "outlet";
• created category called "outlet", with parent Base category;
• in outlet category set only outlet group checked, others are clear (especially Visitor group);

I am expecting that as not logged in user when I am browsing shop I won't see any products from outlet category. And those products will be visible to me only if I log in as user in group outlet.

What is actually happening is that when I am browsing the shop as a visitor is that I am able to see products from outlet category.

 

Now am I understand correctly mechanics involving groups and categories? If yes is it a bug then (I am using presta 1.7.5.1)? Is there a chance that theme (or bug in theme) may cause an issue here (theme I use is: extremestyle version 1.1.18 from official presta shop)?

OK, so after almost three weeks without any response should I report a bug?

I assume if no one can tell if this is desired Presta behavior or not - then for sure something is wrong.
