Create Custom Feed or automate CSV Export

Good morning,

I currently have a query to download the fields I need to connect to my facebook store, it isn't perfect but it works so far. The problem is that I need to automate it, because I am short on time to take care of everything.

Right now I think I have two options, but I have failed on both:

1. Create a xml feed as explainer here. (Its returning blank fields, even after editing the id_lang)
2. Create a cron job or something similar to save my query (done in SQL Manager in BO) in a specific file in the host.

What do you think would be better? Which documentation should I read in order to be able to do it? I am not a programmer, but I am able to follow instructions
