403 for dutch IP's - Geolocation off

Hi all,

 

I'm having a problem where all Dutch IP adresses (Netherlands) are getting a 403 forbidden error. 

Store is a Clothing store so nothing crazy.

Geolocation is turned off.

Dutch IP's are the only ones I know of for the moment and has been happening for a couple months now.

 

Any ideas where I can look next?

Have you checked if there is some kind of restriction in your hosting provider?

yep I've checked with hosting, looked through the .htaccess file, checked the geoip folder (/app/Resources/geoip/) just to be sure.

Dont have any other modules installed that could impact ip address blocking...

I'm out of ideas

The server logs should display the origin of 403. At leas to know if it comes from Apache, Php or other service.

Ok, so I used a vpn to get a NL IP address, looked in logs and found these errors.

trying to figure them out now.

Ok so I activated the Webservice in the PS admin panel and seems to be working now. Any idea why? 

I'm somewhat new to Prestashop so sorry for the noob questions.

As the error logs says: the server was blocking certain ips because its own configuration. If it is an managed hosting is probably that some geoip rules were misconfigured.
