Steveio
Hello, I would like the new_order email that I receive when a new order is placed customized. I would like to add 'Product feature' details to the new_order email template. I currently have 3 product features for all products which are; Material: Range: Product code: I would like to be able to add the 'Product code' alongside where the {items} information is displayed in the new_order template. I do not want to provide FTP/BO access to my website to a third party but if anyone can supply the necessary amended files, that would be great. I am using Prestashop V1.6.0.14. I have attached a screenshot of what I am hoping to achieve. Thanks
CedCommerce Team
Hello Steveio, Hope you are doing well. We can help you with this, it would be better if we can discuss it mutually. Thanks!!
Steveio
Hi, Thank you so much for your help and sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Unfortunately, I implemented the code you provided but it did not affect the new_order email template. I followed steps 1-3 and presume that Step 4 was just the output that I would expect to see on the new_order email template. Please could you let me know if I have misunderstood or if perhaps I should have applied the code in another file rather than the PaymentModule.php file? I am happy to make a Paypal donation if we can get this resolved. Thanks

Steveio
Hi, There is a PaymentModule.php file in the override>classes folder. Do I need to apply the code changes to the file in the override folder instead? Thanks

Steveio
I have tried to add your code to the override file but when you say find and replace "$product_var_tpl = array(", it does not appear anywhere in the override file.

Steveio
I have replaced the code you mentioned but there is now a syntax error warning. Do I then need to add your original code to the override file or the normal PaymentModule.php file?

Steveio
I just made the code amendments and uploaded to the server. The website then went down. Would I be able to send you the 2 PaymentModule.php files for you to edit and send back to me?
