Products custom sort position screws up.

After i manually arrange the product some of the products ends up with the same position value, after that i have no ability to make the position/order right unless i go in to the database and manually resets the position values, and makes sure that all values are unique. These values are correct until i chooses to rearrange the products again.

Some one with the similar problem ?
A bug ?

The error seems to affect categories, are they related ?

Yes, i use the same version.
I probably found that this bug was fixed in the lest version of Prestashop, according to one bug repost i found.
So hopefully this is fixed with the latest version of presta shop, i havent upgraded yet.

Have you tried if the latest version fixed it ?

no i haven't upgraded yet because i have to many modifications to my actual version of prestashop and the current version brings to little so it worth the effort, i manage to solve my problem by altering ps_category_product in my dband fix some duplicated positions(i have no clue how they got duplicated, probably a bug).

Will be this 'Custom product sort order in category issue' also fixed fot 1.4? It's quite annoying issue ...
