ABA payment module problems

Background

• PS 1.7.6.5
• Payment module from ABA (a local bank in Cambodia)
• ABA is the only bank that offers payment API in Cambodia
• E-commerce is rather new to Cambodia

I have installed and configured the payment module that ABA offered with a sandbox account.

What works

• the new installation of PS
• loading the payment form from the bank
• payment successful with a sandbox card number

Problems

• the payment dialog loads extremely slow (see attached: 30 seconds!)
• A successful payment doesn't notify PS - the order status seen on Back Office remains ABA PayWay - Processing Payment (see attached)
• "Continue Shopping" on the successful payment dialog doesn't go anywhere

My questions

• Why does it take so long to load the payment dialog? Maybe it's my cheap server? ($5 VPS) Maybe ABA is too slow? How can I make the responsiveness acceptable? I have enabled cloudflare
• How to make the payway module notify PS on the successful payment? A few clues:
  • on the configuration page of the module, Sandbox API Endpoint is identical to Sandbox API base URL, are they supposed to be identical?
  • Continue Success URL for Web and Continue Success URL for Mobile are empty
  • ABA's API documentation at https://sandbox.payway.com.kh/api-integration/
