Order Email Not sent to customers

can anyone help me with this please

when a customer places an order, normally a confirmation email would be sent to the customer and i used to get an email regarding the order. For some reason, it's not happening. can anyone help me with this, not sure if i've configured it wrong.

I'm having the same problem. I'm currently on v1.4.3.0, and emails aren't sent for order confirmation or status change...even the "tell a friend" emails get an error.

I have MailAlerts activated.

I created an email account that matches the domain name (after reading that that could have an effect).

The test email from Preferences > Email works fine.

Have tried these fixes to no avail:

Am hosted with GoDaddy.
