Bug in OPC when adding separate invoice address??

It seems an issue first reported on the old Forge repository [PSCSX-9685] is still 'live' I can no longer access Forge bug repository and it is not mentioned here,
But the issue occurs while creating new account on OPC with a separate delivery and invoice addresses.

Missing out any fields in the 2'nd 'Invoice Address form section, the registration submits takes place despite errors for missing fields alert displaying, using just  the delivery address and the Invoice address will not be submitted.

Is there a fix for this? Has anyone else got this issue?

Using Prestashop v 1.6.1.24 - mainly due to the fact I do not think 1.7 is remotely ready for prime-time yet, but Prestashop will no longer fix bugs on 1.6, despit the fact that thousands still use it.
