Install different prestashop stores on azure

Hi everyone, I need to host several stores on AZURE. I tried to use a windows VM, with xampp and mysql and use virtualhosting to separate the stores from each other. But the VMs prices are quite high so it doesn't suit me.

• Is there other ways to be able to host multiple stores on AZURE without having to incur a high price?

 

I read an article about Prestashop's multistore functionality, but it will create virtual folders for secondary stores and therefore this would not allow me to make changes to the code of each individual store.

I've never used Azure however I have used Amazon AWS and other cloud based hosting services. I think your best bet would be to go with a linux based VPS and do it like that. You can then edit the host files and have complete different folders for each site on the same server.
