Hi,

I am having a terrible time with (i think) a cache related issue. I have made a change to the content on a CMS page, saved the changes, and after I logon to the backoffice I see that the change has taken. so far so good.

However.... if I fire up a browser The changes are not showing, so I have cleared the browser cache, and still the changes are not showing. I have tried this on Vivaldi, IE, Chrome and Firefox.

So my next plan of attack is to clear the cache on the server, this is where I run into the first issue: What I usually do is the following:

advance parameters -> performance

1 Turn off smarty cache and save

2 turn off all caches in CCC and save

3 clear cache

4 turn the caches back on and save.

but, now when I try tho turn off the smarty cache, and save, the new setting won´t stick. That is issue #1

Because I don´t trust the back office anymore, I have manually deleted all files via ftp, in:

cache/smarty/cache (except index.php)

cache/smarty/compile (again except index.php)

But still my CMS update is not visible in the browsers, no matter how often i mash ctrl-F5.

I forgot to mention, this is Prestashop 1.6.1.24

Does anyone know how to solve my problems?

Regards,

Dave.
