Now when you upgraded did you copy ALL your modules from PrestaShop 1.3 to 1.4??

Most people do this, and that is BAD the reason for an upgrade is that the modules needed to be upgraded? Prestashop is a modules shop


If so here is how to fix it, I assume you still have the original Prestashop 1.4 on your computer you will need it in a minute. If not just re download it. Now delete your current modules on your shop (Using a file software such as FileZilla) and than copy ALL the modules from the 1.4 version to your store, once that is finished go to your store and see if that fixes it, Now if that does fix it you probably have some modules such as in my case a top horizontal module, block advertising, etc.. you MUST add them one to three at a time NEVER more that three at a time and DON’T replace every 1.4 module there is no need. Juts replace the modules you may have edited or added extra. Modules like the PayPal and such NEED to be updated DON’T copy your old ones.
