Setting up shop - front end won't load - too many redirecting attemps

Hi, 

I'm totally new to PrestaShop, i've managed to download the software onto the webserver, I can access the backend fine. Everytime I try to load the public facing site it comes up with an error message 'redirected you too many times.' I've tried this on multiple devices and had the same message, tried clearing my cache but no luck. Are there any suggestions of how to solve this problem?

I'm using version 1.7.5.2
